Convenient location

Since 2021 we have operated a service and maintenance centre in Lovosice for special traction vehicles as well as locomotives and railway wagons. We see Lovosice as an important hub of the Czech railway network, and it’s also a strategic location for transit to Germany.

At the heart of the facility is a covered, heated hall with two 100-metre tracks with service pits running their full length. A siding is also available, serving as a storage track for equipment being serviced or for wagons. The siding’s capacity is also sufficient for testing the functionality of repaired machines.

Handling of machines

Repairing equipment often involves handling heavy parts or machine components. In our service hall, this work is made much easier by ten synchronized jacks (each with a 25-tonne capacity) positioned along the full length of the working tracks. We also have a gantry crane with a 10-tonne capacity.

The Lovosice facility also includes workshops for machine maintenance and repair. This means we can service or replace electrical wiring, and we’re equipped for repairs or complete replacement of hydraulic hoses and pneumatic tubing. We also have our own turnery, metalworking, and welding workshop.

Indoor and outdoor storage

For us and our partners, we have both outdoor and indoor dry storage ready for equipment parts, components, etc. Thanks to how we organize these spaces, each order can have its own dedicated storage area. We return all removed parts to the customer or dispose of them in an environmentally responsible way. The same applies to operating fluids.

Training centre

Alongside facilities for our staff, the service centre also includes a training room. It has a capacity of 15 people and is equipped with a data projector and a large TV, along with a flipchart and a magnetic whiteboard — and of course a coffee machine.

Facilities for customers

Not only our own staff but also external technicians can use the service centre’s facilities — from the working tracks and individual workshops to handling equipment and storage space. External technicians naturally also have access to washroom facilities, a changing room, and their own canteen.

Key staffing

We’re aware that quality equipment is only the first condition for quality service. The second is experienced staff. That’s why we have technicians with the necessary certifications on hand.

Close cooperation with suppliers of components and spare parts is essential for the high quality and speed of our service. Companies we work closely with include engine suppliers Liebherr, Deutz, and Caterpillar, transmission suppliers Voith and ZF, lifting equipment supplier Palfinger, hydraulic hose supplier Hansa-Flex, and others.
