The compact and small Romitamp 2.0 tamping machine is designed for precise tamping of track sections that are too demanding and large for manual repairs, or too small to justify the economic use of large machines.
High tamping force and maximum quality. Homogeneous compaction of the ballast bed with a proven pressure-asynchronous vibratory tamping system, ideal for poor ballast bed condition. Track geometry correction in a short time. Linear control enables precise movement sequences of the tamping units. Operator seat with all controls positioned directly behind the tamping unit.
Robust and compact design. The Romitamp 2.0 is easy to transport by road and by rail, ideal for loading onto a truck or a Rotrailer. Tamping hammer material with high wear resistance, featuring highly durable pressure plates that extend hammer service life.
Reliable functions and state-of-the-art equipment. Fast deployment with an integrated railing/derailing system. Biodegradable hydraulic oil tank with filters on both the supply and return lines. Additional LED work lights on all sides. Fully automated tamping process.
